A double blessing for the Guwasa Community
Our very recent radio installation and repair was done at Guwasa which is a remote community located in the Eastern Highlands Province of Papua New Guinea. MAF Pilot, Glenys Watson flew our CRMF Technician, Gollinson Wena to install and repair the HF radio at the EBC School at Guwasa. The installation only took three hours.
During Glenys flight back to pick Gollinson, she made use of the opportunity to distribute Bibles and other Christian resources from the Bible box to the Guwasa community while waiting for Gollinson to complete the installation and do other technical repairs before they both returned to Goroka that same day.
The community at Guwasa received a double blessing from having their new HF radio installed and receiving their Bibles and other Christian resources distributed by Glenys from the Bible Box.
The HF Radio was installed at the Magia EBC Primary School.
The radio installed at Guwasa currently provides a constant communication for the EBC Primary School and the remote Clinic there. The radio makes it easy for each community to report medeves, provide weather updates for MAF and also collect and provide announcements and programs for their Churches.
